About

Angelica Willis is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow, Google Women Techmaker Scholar and Stanford University graduate student with a passion for leveraging Artificial Intelligence and social entrepreneurship to advance humanity. Angelica is an advocate for computer science education and diversity in STEM and was honored by President Obama as a 2016 White House Champion of Change for Computer Science Education. Angelica conducts machine learning research in Human-Centered AI and she has worked on machine learning projects Google Brain, Apple, Bank of America and NASA. She enjoys helping build startups and consulting these startups on leveraging data to cultivate compelling customer experiences. As an undergraduate at North Carolina A&T, Angelica was a Student Ambassador to the White House, a CODE2040 Fellow, an Apple HBCU Scholar, and the first NC A&T student to become a University Innovation Fellow through the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University.
